Marek, That article is a "We have good news & bad news." . The article states... we have been in this sort of trouble before, actually many times, and each time it was deal with in a manner such that no chaos or crisis that was a direct threat, occured. . The article then adds... it may be different this time. . My opinion is that yes it will be different this time. . I think the article does not come right out and say that the world's economic structure, with the United States a main and important piece, will collapse, but that eventually if you create an unstable structure and each time at the point when its starting to fall you rush over and make it stable, that over time and repeating having this happen, that one of those times that you run over to prevent the structure from falling, that you will by chance stumble over something unexpected and not reach that falling financial structure in time, and it falls and crashes. . I think the article says that using a logic of degree of unstable'ness. . But i think thats in error, to look at whats current and add up the various parts and find out that you are lacking in strength, as in your debt is too high this time. . To me the real problem with the current situation is not the actual numbers that can be generated to show debt and cash needed to continue services for USA Inc. . To me all those past times USA Inc had to fudge and cook the books to keep itself from declaring bankruptcy/default and cause a world depression from that disruption of the single most powerful nation in economy & military finding itself in money trouble, that all those times the USA did an Arthur Anderson report on itself, the USA each time became more and more like an Enron-to-be. . Maybe a clearer way for me to say the above is that the United States using it might and power in both money and military force found that it needed the other nations on planet Earth to go along with the con game the United States was conducting. To this i must say that the United States has had its way doing this for over 20 years, and it has been easy since the governments of them other nations are run by politicians that are easy to get to do the wrong thing just so they can look good in some way to get reelected. Its an tangent here, but that India/Pakistan war sounds reminds me of a science fiction novel i read back in the 1950s about this world with only two land masses seperated by one single ocean. The way the story read was that technology was limited to only surface vehicles and water ships, no airplanes. Over time the people on each land mass did not visit each other's land mass since the ocean's weather was too violent for ship travel, so for thousands of years they only knew another land mass existed, but no one ever visited. After these thousands of years living without contact it was like those on the other land mass were thought of as if they were from another planet, and speculation always included that they were completely different in form. From this a group of bad evil nasty men decided that they could stage an event that would let them get control of the government. At the time folks in both land masses were at peace and everything was good and life was nice and easy. These bad men knew that they would never be accepted as leaders since they wanted to rule the land mass a.k.a. Russia/China style and needed to abolish individual freedoms like gun possession, speech and assembly. So what these men did was gamble on a boat trip across the ocean and they made it and located the identical race of people they left. Not only were the people the same, but like their side the economy was nice and good and at peace with everyone having a good life. So far so good they noted, as now all they needed to do was located out of a million good souls about a dozen evil ones like themselves. ok, they found them and plotted and 5 years later both of these dozen evil men were in total control of their side, as they ran the government with all freedoms null & voided because it was a state of WAR. Yes each land mass was at war with the other. Each week one side would capture some of the enemy and parade them down main street, and guess what, those people on the other side were not like them, human, but evil looking bug like. Note: a current Outer Limits show has this angle, being that its a staged lie, displaying false images of the enemy to make them look bad and repulsive. So bottom line, eventhought there was never any War declared or actually inplace, it was staged as such using false images so that a War Government was accepted. . That is a little like the article, to mask and allow bad governments or bad government administrations, one has to always keep the people on edge thinking that bad times require bad medicine eventhought its the medicine that makes the bad exist. . ok, so to me the article did note that the past troubles were corrected using not something correct, but just a fudge factor, but to me these are now adding up to critical levels that will NOT allow another fudge be applied and accepted to keep things running until the next crisis time. . Nope, to me the current situation is a House of Cards that i posted last month has many House of Cards inside it that were not allowed to fall using another fudge to build another House of Cards to enclose it. . All together now these House of Cards are now too large to prevent an evil wind from blowing them all over. . If the USA's markets of Dow & Nasdaq crashes big time, then that feeding negative onto itself with jobs lost causing less need for workers etc leads to a big world depression that will make 1929 look small and mild and short. doug
