ha ha ha ! education versus ignorance is a good line. Actually funny. It should be the motto of higher institutions.

Now I don't mean here that it is necessarily funny vers a vis Zardoz. I am not laughing at anyone. Especially not if they have no sense of humour and possess nuclear weapons.

Zardoz is not iggorant. He is just polarized. It behooves us, if we are honourable or generous, that we be humile. This means that we learn from other's perspectives. After all, considerable circumspection and time investment went into forming and case hardening their prejudices, so they deserve a second glance.

It should also never be thought that simple people, tradesmen, or children, because they have not studied long may not have brilliant insight into what you view a sproblem of great magnitude. The attitude that only the guys in white lab coats solve problems is a bad one. In fact they have so many political and other problems that they don't get the chance to devote themselves to pure thought that might short circuit their investigations.
