Here's Leadership -- New Policy: screw the taxpayer, go to jail. Then, let the bureaucrats and bandits scurry around in fear, throw a few thousand of the convicted in the pokey as examples, let qualified watchdog groups lend their eager hand to the job. There are dozens of such groups, and thousands of people with impeccable credentials. It not only won't cost the government money --- it will save billions, maybe trillions over time. It will begin to add credibility to the joke that we call "government" that now grabs our wallets and pisses off the average American. A policy of honest and honerable government would also begin to welcome in decent people for public service, not for personal gain. This would be the most important result of all.
