As you know, I have been hoping to be hired as a writer for the Sopranos or possibly a spin-off. I was thinking about another episode.

What if one of the boys had been caught in the cross hairs and had done his time. Now, he is out on probation. However, probation is interfering with his ability to scheme, scam, make money, and be a player. He asks a former law enforcement official to pose as if she is still currently in that position and they send a letter recommending that the probation be lifted...but then the probation officer or court or Federal Prosecutor finds out that it was all a sham and the person is no longer employed in the capacity that she was claiming in the recommendation. Would that make for a good episode?

I guess not. This scenario is too damn dumb. Sopranos would never hire me with that kind of script. Maybe I can create a Dumb Ass Things Criminals Do show and sell it to Fox.
