Is that a parody?
I don't think so. That was BBCNews.
I post it to jttmab and see what he says. He's over there.
Convinced it's a much better country than the US, too.

Wonder if he'll go to Hymiestate....
LOL! Wonder if he'll call it that if he does.

I'd suggest he not use his usual shakedown tactics there. He'll come back in a wooden box.

This topic goes back a bit. I posted Laz some statistics on health care and crime rates in the US vs UK [and some other Western European countries] and he couldn't stand it, because the UK fared better.

So he pulled a couple of op-ed pieces on race racked nothern England and the other crumbling cities of Europe. Couple problems with the op-ed pieces..the city the author cited as an example of race-racking [???] is about 20 miles from where I live...It's not a race racked city. The op-ed piece also cited other cities in Europe, the dummy author happened to pick one the fastest growing, lowest employment, largest port in the world as his example of a crumbling city...which happened to construct an entire section modelled after Dallas [a fad due to the popularity of the show].

I suppose this story from Laz illustrates the violence reeking through the UK culture...or something like that.
