Terrorist Group Profiles
Below we list a history of acts of terrorism, starting in 1968 and through 1986. Of course terrorism has continued since 1986. A few of the major events since 1986 are included as well, but data is not complete from 1986 onward, as the volume of events has outpaced the author's ability to report on them. To make this point clear we also have compile brief snapshots of terrorism since 1986 in the Terrfile . For more complete detail, the U.S. has been
gathering and publishing details of attacks against U.S. citizens and property since 1995 and this data is published annually in the report, Patterns of Global Terrorism. Mirrored copies are available on MILNET.
Note that the majority of terrorism reported before 1980 occurred in or around Israel and the Middle East. This is due to the fact that world terrorism spread from the Middle East as Arab and Jew continued their ancestorial struggles. The State of Israel considered Arab attacks on their kinsmen as an act of War, and not to be outdone, began their own retaliatory acts of terror. Their own band of terrorist/assassins ran free until the crew
accidentally killed some innocents, at which time the Israeli government reigned them in (see "The Hit Team #25 in the Milnet Bibliography.
Since then, Israeli retaliation has been in a more military fashion, with excursions into neighboring countries, seizing land to create buffer zones around them.
Today, the Gaza Strip, a contentious holding of the Israelis has been the scene of most of the Middle East violence over the last decade.
However you will also note from the data that Central Europe and London, United Kingdom have also had their share of terrorism from Middle Eastern concerns.
The only country which has not faced an onslaught of Middle Eastern terrorism is the United States. Or at least until recently. The World Trade Center explosion is attributed to a radical Jordanian moslem group. Only time will tell whether this "new" trend in the U.S. continues.
You will note a few instances where an act of violence is on the very gray edge of the line separating political violence versus terrorism... the difference being nearly indistinguishable at times. For instance, what were the motives of the assassin who took a shot at the Pope? Was it anti-Catholicism, anti-Rome/anti-Italy, or just a nut case trying to get his moment of dubious "fame"?

I get very, very tired of all the muslim apologists on these boards, protesting that "true islam" means "peace". What a laugh. Perhaps for the 50 or so million in Western nations, where those nations' laws are based on Greek/Roman/Christian principles, but certainly not where the rest of the 1.3 billion muslims live. They love to yammer away at us from their koran also. Well,
consider the following from that satanic book, and their "hadith":
"According to the Meccan chronicles...recorded in the Sahih Moslem annals, all Jews wee anathema and were to be annihilated: "Allah's messenger [Muhammad]---may peace be upon him----has commanded: Fight against the Jews and kill them. Pursue them until even a stone would say: Come here, Moslem, thee is a Jew hiding himself behind me. Kill him. Kill him quickly."
In the Hadith, Mohammad said: 'Hear, O muslims, the meaning of life. Shall I not tell you of the peak of the matter, its pillar, and its topmost part? The peak of matter is Islam itself. The pillar is ritual Rakatin prayer. and the topmost is Ji'had -- holy war." According to Islamic law, jihad is, if necessary, to be waged until the Day of Judgment --i.e., until he world is subjugated. jihad and martyrdom "are inscribed in the heart of Islam" and
are considered "holy" means of achieving Islamic objectives.
The koran teaches: "O, true believers, take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends. they cannot be trusted. they are defiled---filth."
As far as women go: surah IV.34 directs men thusly: "Men are maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion,
admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great."
muslim men seem to get their jollies beating their women, if they can't get them any other way. Then there's the bit about Jews and Christians, according to islam, these are also "people of the book"
Surah IV.89: They desire that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so that you might be (all) alike; therefore take not from among them friends until they fly (their homes) in Allah's way; but if they turn back, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and take not from among them a
friend or a helper."
Yup, can't get much more "peaceful" than that, now can we?
Frankly, I had to stop reading this tripe, because I was becoming ill. I can see why weak minded idiots succumb to this sort of BS. I'll try to get back to it later, though, 'cause I know you muslim types like to read quotes from your "holy" book. In the mean time, however, here is a very, very brief list of muslim accomplishments over the past 20-30 years. There is some overlap with the earlier list. Sorry. Unfortunately terrorism itself is
also repeated far too often. As you read the list, try to remember the last time when the Catholic church, or
Orthodox, or Protestant churches - let alone Christian based governments did anything comparable!
11/4/'79: Islamic students storm US Embassy in Tehran, Iran, holding 52 American hostages for 444 days.
4/18/83: homicide car bomber blows up US Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon, killing 17 Americans.
10/23/83: Shiite homicide bombers set off car bombs in front of the French military headquarters and a US Marine barracks in Beirut, killing 241 marines, and 58 French paratroopers.
12/12/'83: Shiite homicide bombers set off car bombs in front of the US and French Embassies in Kuwait City, killing five people and wounding 86.
9/20/84: Car bomb at the US Embassy annex in east Beirut kills 16 and injures the ambassador.
6/14/85: Shiite muslim gunmen seize a TWA Boeing 727, forcing it to Beirut, Lebanon. They demand the release of 700 Arabs held by Israel. A US Navy diver is killed, and thrown to the runway. 39 Americans are held until they are released on July 1, through Syrian mediation.
10/8/85: Crippled American Jew, Leon Klinghoffer is killed by Palestinian militants who had seized the Italian cruise liner Achille Lauro.
9/5/86: Hijackers seize Pan Am jumbo jet carrying 358 people at Karachi airport. Twenty people killed when security forces storm the plane.
12/21/88: Pan Am Boeing 747 explodes over Lockerbie, Scotland, on a flight from London to New York, killing 270 people, including residents of the town.
02/26/93: A bomb explodes in the parking garage below the WTC, killing six people and wounding more than 1,000. Six islamic militants were convicted in the bombing and sentenced to life in prison.
11/13/95: A bomb detonates at a US military headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, killing five American service personnel.
6/25/96: Truck bomb explodes outside the Khobar Towers in Dharan, Saudi Arabia, killing 19 American Servicemen and wounding hundreds of other people. islamic Hezbollah gets the credit.
8/7/98: car bombs explode outside the US Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, within minutes of each other, killing 224 people and wounding thousands. bin laden gets credit for this one.
10/12/00: islamic terrorist bombing kills 17 US sailors aboard the USS Cole as it is refueled in Yemen's port of Aden.
9/11/11: Saudi muslims finish the job they started in ‘93. Add in the Pentagon. More people die - 3,000+, than at the Japanese sneak attack of 12/7/41. Americans haven't forgotten that date after 61 years, and we'll never forget this one, either, or who did it.
The intelligent reader will know as well as I do that the above is only a fraction of the terrorist crimes muslims have perpetrated around the world by "peaceful" muslims. Israel, Germany, India, the Iran-Iraq war - where Iranian children were used to clear mine fields, Israel, where muslims once again use their young to kill innocent Israelis - Kashmir, the Philippines, Pakistan, Sudan, Nigeria, Somalia, Indonesia, East Timor......the list is
endless, and frankly I don't have the time to list them for illiterate, brain dead muslims who only reads islamic press releases accusing the West of all islam's social ills.
Face it, muslim posters, you have one sick, sick religion on your hands. So called "moderate," "peaceful" muslims can't seem to cure the sickness, so others who have to share this small planet with them will have to. Then, in typical muslim fashion, they'll ignore the bloodshed caused by muslims, and cry about the "innocent muslims" slain when the West retaliates. islam still thinks it can attack with impunity and not suffer consequences. Truly
amazing in its sheer stupidity. But then, hey,
what have muslims produced in the way of brains over the last 13 centuries? What are their accomplishments? Pretty short, sad list, huh? Tsk, tsk.
You know what is really a joke? They repeatedly throw in American's faces that we dropped "the bombs" on Japan. Yup, we sure did - to end a war we did not start!
You might think WWII would serve as an object lesson for muslims. But think again. They're not to bright. As history has shown, they know how to kill innoncent men, women and children, even blowing up their own children; but try to think of something positive they've done - in any islamic country????
"peaceful" islam? Tell it those to those who died as a result of your islamic terrorism. Tell it to their families. Tell it to Daniel Pearl's widow who got to see her husband's throat slit. Tell it to the family of Guillermo Sobero, after Filipino muslims cut off his head.....Or the families of the Kansas missionary couple still held by the same islamic terrorists who cut off Sobero's head. |
