I don't drink, either. I guess what I'll do is get composite from now on but not go through a big excavation project. My husband only has four little fillings, total, all mercury, but I have many. My brother in law who had all his amalgam changed to composite (at a cost of thousands) did it because he read a study that said amalgam was associated with depression and low energy. He says the change didn't make any difference at all in the way he felt. I'm going to ask him what he's going to do with his own children.
