More Palestainian (attempted) atrocities: A Palestinian terrorist who began shooting at a kindergarten in Shavei Shomron, northwest of Nablus, on Friday was shot and killed by a resident. No one was wounded. The attack came less than two days after a terrorist entered Itamar, murdered three yeshiva students and wounded others before he was shot dead. "The fact that we are witnessing the renewal of attacks inside Israel proper and in Judea, Samaria, and the Gaza Strip, and infiltration into the settlements proves that Operation Defensive Shield was halted prematurely," Samaria Regional Council head Benzi Lieberman said. "I call on the prime minister to accept the recommendations of the chief of General Staff and the Shin Bet and order the army to reoccupy all areas under Palestinian Authority control until the terrorist infrastructure has been wiped out."
