Yes, Chomsky opposes tyranny. I quote from Prof. Chomsky:

In fact, if a third world country today were to promulgate the US Constitution, we would regard it as a reversion to Nazism.

So, you will agree with me if I say that Chomsky says that fascism "worked". Your semantic nitpicking defense of Chomsky has you agreeing with him that fascism "worked" (past tense) but claiming that doesn't mean that you and he also consider that it "works" (present tense), I guess you would say. But is it illogical that one who holds that something "worked" also holds that it "works"?

Actually the argument I've used against Chomsky is similar to the type of argument that he likes to use himself.

Chomsky has no problem with left-wing tyranny, though of course he doesn't "advocate" it. The only thing he "tirelessly opposes" is the US.
