TexasDude, California Governor Gray Davis has been making political hay about Bush's totally transparent hypocrisy and double-standard politicking this weekend. I'd hate to be Bill Simon right now. If Simon were wise, he'd just concede right now. His candidacy is hopeless. I'm so delighted the GOP shot itself in the foot by dumping Riordan. I believe Riordan actually stood a chance of winning on a "throw out da bums" vote. Simon has zero chance. The race will be about as lopsided as the New York Clinton Senate win against old what's-his-name.
