Wow, what a horrible story

but I don't doubt that it's probably true. Here in Los Angeles we had the police scandal where they would frame others for crimes they had committed. Then they'd all testify that they saw the framed person do it. They even shot the guy they framed and he's paralyzed. So insane.

I will also say that police officers are a tad sloppy in their paperwork. I was asked to call a detective and make a report about something. I took notes of what I said while I said it on the phone. Then I ordered a copy of the report. There were 11 major errors in there which would have made any judge toss the case out. She even got my name wrong after I spelled it for her twice. I sent her the corrections and told her to pass them along. I have no idea if she did. She probably didn't want to look like she made a mistake so I doubt she did. If that police report were allowed to have stood the way it was, the case probably would have been thrown out because it was so far off. I told her "days" and she wrote "years." I said it was "in violation of building and safety codes" and she wrote it was "condemned." I said it was missing "some windows and a door" and she wrote "missing all doors and windows." She also told me a few important things that she said she was putting in her report and she didn't. Each time she took the quicker way to report the facts. There were other bigger errors but I'd have to look them up to be certain. If every detective/officer is making mistakes like this, you can imagine how the total case is handled. It's like playing telephone. By the time all the reports get to the judge, it's all gibberish and any case would have to be thrown out and criminals go free or innocent people are left inprisoned.
