This is not correct ... The chrome is patterned on a quartz substrate (248nm and above).
The pellicle is a thin cellulose membrane........


Whoops, you're right. I remember now..... Handling Reticles was with kid gloves, and Tearing a Pellicle in the old days was Taboo, and cause for major distress. I didn't know they had gone to Polymers.... My Bad. Thanks for noting my error (you bastard).
