I foresee a co. like SUNW becoming increasingly lean with its initiative of using the mobile office. There are articles indicating that this is new however, I have heard this concept before fron Sun Microsystems. I believe that it will be a game of whomever is left after the tech shake out is done with , We are going through the last year of sunch a shake out IMO and I believe that Sun Microsystems will be one of the survivors. If they are not, I will be very, very surprised.

Because of TCO, clients will maje capital expenditures once again in upgrades of IT so they will be able to save money. Supervomm meeting next week in Atlanta, which I will attend from a financial advisor to corporate America standpoint, will be all about saving real money and earning real money. The days of "pie in the sky" bullshit earnings projections and overvaluations are gone forever. Or. Or, are they? Will the average investor forget the past? Will they get caught up again in the next hype? I thing there will be some amnesia. Thank goodness there will not be any more analysts with undisclosed ties to investment banking, or will there be?

I imagine the analyst community after licking their wounds wil have to go underground.

<<What data are you using to determine that SUNW keeps growing. I tested this theory with earnings, revs and stock price but couldn't confirm it.>>

I would say that you are completely missing my point, but since I'm sure you are doing it both intentionally and disingenuously, I won't mention it.

Hint: Substitute your historical numbers for the same numbers over the NEXT ten years and consider your opinion again.

Unless, of course, you tend to invest in the past rather than the future, in which case you may stop posting entirely, and won't be missed...

<<MSFT was saying that investors should not expect historical growth to continue at its past rate.>>

And that's a mouthful, considering the worthless crap they make...
