Would you expand on that comment? I mean, what do you take to be the significance of the frequency you notice?

Bigots cite the Bible. Non bigots cite the Bible. Even non religious people will cite the Bible if they think it will help them make an argument (most likely they would be arguing with a religious person, but they might just find some well written passage about some idea they want to support in the Bible). I don't see citing the Bible as a sign of bigotry.
