You didn't imply ... I inferred from your presumed insinuation. Actually, my presumption about the insinuation I inferred may be totally uncalled for in the absence of any implication on your part. Oh Dear, this gets so complicated, doesn't it. I didn't mean to imply anything myself about the intelligence of the parties concerned. They are clearly very intelligent ladies.
