The HP monitor on one of my Windows 98 machines just went nuts. Squiggles and jittery jumping all over the place. Have made no software or hardware changes lately. This just started very abruptly. Any suggestions on how I can tell what might be wrong with it?
Thanks
Ron

No, it doesn't. It has a few close, but not the phrase in question. It has:

user_pref("browser.download.dir", "C:\\WINDOWS\\DESKTOP");
user_pref("browser.history.last_page_visited", .... etc.);
user_pref("browser.search.defaultengine", "engine://E%3A%5CPROGRAM%20FILES%5CNETSCAPE%5CNETSCAPE%206%5Csearchplugins%5CSBWeb_01.src");
user_pref("browser.startup.homepage", ... etc.");
user_pref("browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone", ...etc.");

Best wishes,
