While we're talking about monitors, let me give some positive feedback on one company's customer service.

Samsung...they make some decent monitors...they also offer 3 year warranties, a lot of monitor manufacturers don't.

I had a problem with my 1 year old Samsung 753 DF. The screen would periodically go into a red tint...everything would have a reddish hue. I hit it...wiggled the connections...downloaded updated drivers....turned it off and on. On it's own it would revert back to normal for a few days and then it would go red again.

I called Samsung's customer service (800 number)...no wait ...talked to a real human person. No hassle..they shipped a replacement and told me to ship mine back to them after I received the replacement....no charge.

Just thought that I'd mention a company that apparently has a good customer service department.
