Having been furniture shopping myself the past weeks, I can't believe it.

We have been having a horrible time.

Or course, our standards are quite strict.

But still. You would think somebody would make exquisitely comfortable, superbly made, very good looking furniture either in leather or in fabrics that resist cats.

Naw.

I have had that happen a few times. The serendipity was beyond amazing. Usually, it works just the opposite. I am happy for your serendipitous moment in time.

I had nowhere near such a magic day. I did, though, find a flat of perfect mangos at my favorite Asian grocery. (I cannot buy mangos without thinking of Marcos.) And I stopped by the pool and was assured it was warm enough for swimming, so I will go as soon as the sun is down. And I got some chores done. Not magical, but not bad.
