This is what Ken Fisher said about AMAT, Forbes May 27,2002 pp 168, last paragraph: " Now add stock picking, Applied Materials (24,AMAT) makes wafer fabrication equipment. I think it will be dog meat the rest of this year." He goes on to suggest selling AMAT short.

This doesn't sound bullish to me.

However, I'm buying. I picked up some at $23.13, $22.03 and I have an order for more at $20.93. I'll keep buying every 5% down. I will be eating steak, not dog meat. I'll save a place in my dog yard for Ken. The team thinks Iams is pretty good. And I do have a spare dog house out there with a view of the midnight sun.
