Richnorth, the <<.....lie low for a while...>> is not reassuring. This needs a permanent solution. We had the Kargil thing. At that time Musharraf was not in power as a President but he was the head of the Pakistani defence. The democratically elected Prime Minister at that time Nawaz Sharif, whom Musharraf depose because of differences over the Kargil incursion. His army along with the ISI wanted to infiltrate India whereas the democratically elected leader did not want to do so. So, IMO a permanent solution would be to restore democracy in Pakistan first. Does it make sense for democratic nations to deal with dictators.
