One of the best summaries for the reason to have a full investigation, and possible reasons for the administration to obsessively oppose it.

A hundred little items like this need to be investigated for any relevance:

"Newsweek reported that on September 10, "a group of top Pentagon officials suddenly canceled travel plans for the
next morning, apparently because of security concerns"

The Bush 9/11 Scandal for Dummies

Between the lines of this article you can see why so many of the players, Bush Sr. the Carlyle Crowd and much of the rest were "company men". They all moved through the CIA where they learned that any law could be broken if you just kept quiet. It is now the American people who are becoming victim to these actions born of the needs of WWII but now driven by greed and power.
