There is an entire office park at McCarthy Ranch in Milpitas with exactly one building occupied, and no chance of the others being taken for years.

The one with four or five story buildings with palm trees along the side facing the freeway? I just passed by there yesterday on the way to SFO. Beautiful complex. Some HUGE amount of square footage looking for dwellers -- I can't remember whether the sign said 270,000 square feet or 2.7 million. Something like that -- massive.

Similar situation in Pleasanton, right near Stoneridge. Four or five BIG buildings, just completed, and all but one completely empty.

Somebody is sweating the interest payments on all those empty properties. Have to wonder when that will start impacting the economy as well.
