I cast a vote at the NY Times in the poll about 2/3 down this page: nytimes.com The question was: Do you approve or disapprove of the way George W. Bush is handling his job as President? 73% of respondents in the official poll said Yes. Looks like we have another case of the Teflon President here. None of the obvious problems with the FBI, CIA, dropping the ball on 9/11, etc. seem to matter to the American public. Or maybe they're too intimidated by the notion that the wrong response will trigger a dossier by John Ashcroft so that they lie about how swell el Presidente Corrupto is. <g>
