I don't care to follow this argument further, let's wait until there are real app benchmarks on Itanic/Itanic2 and then we can pick it up again. I would be more than glad to take back all my comments if Itanic is actually a good overall performer. -- Well then.....Maybe you ought to be concerning yourself less with how Itanium (Your use of the word "Itanic" is enlightening as to your Bias, we call it Itanium), and a bit more with how the "Love Of Your Life" ClawHammer ISN'T going to perform: AMD limits Clawhammer to 800MHz AFTER AMD HAD its press conference this morning, we dashed off to chat to some of the board makers to see how their own performance tests were shaping up.
