Too bad Bob Johnson does not post on this thread, but hopefully someone else has that information to clue us all where the gold not yet mined reside on planet Earth. My feel is that once it becomes known, what i know, about how doing business in Russian outside those areas not critical for technology and military will remain same old same, but natural resources and specific sciences and engineering areas will be dealt with completely different with safety short and long term to the benefit of foreign interests willing to embrace and work within a very well defined and controlled set of parameters. . Stuff like you mentioned, "... feeling at the fool is that it is better for mining companies to be run by geologists supported by city whizz kids, rather than vice versa." have no meaning when strong hands of the type now calling the shots in Russia put forth business, manufacturing and mining methods to later in years be recognized as very best. . Anyone have any insight just in the natural resources of Russia with focus gold in amount, location and how-to-mine it ? Just to get a view as if Russia has no one living there, no people, no government, just whatever is there at this time, the landscape weather just using already accepted geology data as if its a clean slate whats there as precious & base metal resources and the method to reach those areas whats required to set up a mining operation and transport the raw materials to market also, might as well include if its easy, trees, fishing etc doug
