Short sellers make a move on CTSH... so say the newspapers in Japan.
Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. (CTSH) fell $5.57, or 11 percent, to $43.20 and traded as low as $42.51. The computer consultant's customers might delay projects and purchases as India and Pakistan dispute each other's land claims in Kashmir, said Barry Chubrik, an analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston.

El Paso Corp. (EP: news, chart, profile) slid 14 percent after saying Monday that Treasurer Charles Dana Rice committed suicide. The company acknowledged the event was "tragic," but said it believed the sell-off in its stock was "unwarranted."
