AMD's "advertising" is to investors, not computer buyers, totally unlike Computex.

<And you might be confusing advertising with showing off a few motherboard reference designs at a trade show.>

Now THAT is advertising which makes sense. It is where OEM's and distributors go to decide which boards to buy.

<Remember that these motherboard manufacturers sell mainly through the channel, and for them, AMD represents 30-40% of their sales>

And your point is.... what? The channel market is exactly the one most sensitive to delaying current purchases for future improved products.
