Hey, Gofer, I got a story for you on this subject.

The first guy where I used work to get an online stock trading account screwed up his first trade. He meant to put 70% of his money into a particular stock, but misunderstood the trading screens and entered the order twice. This put him very near a margin call. Took him two weeks to get the mailed confirmations and to realize what he had done.

His punishment? Well, this was 1996 and he had bought DELL at the equivalent of 2$ a share today. Sometimes you land in the fertilizer, sometimes the flowers.
