The options reporting issues have NOTHING to do with cash flow. No matter how EPS is reported there is NO effect on cash flow. $11 billion in cash flow will be $11 billion in cash flow after accounting for option grants. Don't believe me? Do some research. << I had a friend who makes $120K+ on the East Coast interview with MSFT in Redmond, they wanted to pay him $50K plus options... >> MSFT pays higher than average salaries.
