You haven't looked into this have you. The options reporting issues have NOTHING to do with cash flow. No matter how EPS is reported there is NO effect on cash flow. $11 billion in cash flow will be $11 billion in cash flow after accounting for option grants. Don't believe me? Do some research.

MSFT pays higher than average salaries. Matter of fact, they pay salary levels higher than 65% of all tech companies.
