It's amazing more people aren't sick from breathing the air in those tight-as-a-drum buildings. The adhesives used when they lay new carpet is strong stuff. And anytime they paint or use strong cleaning solutions the air is just circulated around. Then there is the problem of mold in the air conditioning ducts. Molds might be worse than chemicals.
