Why is Magee talking December as the launch date of Clawhammer Athlon? Aren't all of the 'Droids convinced that October would be "D-day"? Good point! I don't buy that cover story by Rich Heye explaining the underclock-locked Hammers. The issue isn't managing expectations. The issue is validation. Why AMD would want their partners to validate with anything less than their most stressful is beyond me. Good point #2. Maybe not all is well in AMD process land. Of course you could have fooled us with all those millions of highspeed ThoroughlyDeads coming out of AMD's fabs... EP
