all the great times my dad & I had collecting, learning & sharing. I sure miss him a lot :-(

True collectors are in it for the love of it and its obvious that you fall in that category. My father in law and I shared the same comradery.

What bothers me is the greed mongers coming out of the woodwork riding the wave of gold's current popularity!

serious dire signals today
check the many energy sector stocks
they are heading south in a big way
I interpret this in two ways

first, recession is slowly entering forecast picture
forget the fools issuing economic forecasts
instead look to the sectors and their directions
energy stocks are coming down hard
Enron mess notwithstanding, this is becoming broadbased

second, investment capital for our domestic energy sector is disappearing
how is the USA supposed to develop new energy sources in North America?
without profits, without secondary issuances, not gonna happen
our dependence upon foreign oil will grow
our trade debt will continue to expand
EVEN AS THE USDOLLAR DECLINES FURTHER

add to the witch's brew the near death experience by the US Transportation industry
I expect a certain recessino by next year
the only question is whether the worldwide dollar abandonment will turn it into a depression

this country is in deep deep deep shit
the ones who dont get it are investors and politicians
the media is slowly seeing trouble signals
but they are bound to put a positive spin on everything

the real objective editorials are available on the internet
what a great alternative to bovine road apples

no errant genius here
this so-called recovery peters out by late summer, autumn
