I get the TRIN5 right at 9. Would have been well over 9 if not for some late short covering. Has only gone higher than (9.0) 3X in the past 20 years.

Number 1) was last April which produced a nice ST rally within a bear market. 2) and 3) were Oct. of '98 and Oct. of '87. geocities.com

So- I come to the conclusion that, either:
a) this is a tremendous ST buying opportunity, or
b) we're in the midst of a 'crash' type event which should produce a great buying opportunity very shortly.

So, dust off those bull horns that you stuck in the back of the closet, and prepare to buy. <g>

Of course there's also c) the bear's wet dream of a repeat of 1914 in which the exchange shuts down for 4 months, the gold standard returns, and a World War breaks out. <g>

Volume pretty puny today, not really what you'd expect in a capitulation event:
