G, Market ignored bad news for awhile back in late 1999--early 2000. Focused on never ending boom now focusing on never ending gloom and doom. We can only hope that sanity will return. I am really concerned that we might have a self fulfilling prophecy here and a second dip in the economy which is not at all inevitable. I dont always agree with BWAC but the Bush team is dealing totally with the terrorism issue. They didnt take the time to consider that all those warnings--scuba bombers thru stinger missiles would take its toll on the markets and thus on the fragile recovery. mike
