I knew it wouldn't be long before your adulation for former President Clinton began showing.

Clinton's problems were his own fault. It wasn't a "vast right wing conspiracy" of the Hillary type or anything of the sort. First, he and his henchmen illegally slandered an innocent travel officer administrator. Which he later lost a court case over. Then he committed perjury and obstruction of justice while slandering someone he clearly committed a sexual harassment against.

But what's almost comical about the whole episode, is it was liberals who raised the sensitivity bar regarding sexual harassment when they went after an innocent man who was selected to the Supreme Court. So, in reality the "vast right wing conspiracy" was actually a "vast left wing conspiracy".

Clinton was treated the way he deserved to be treated. He was an out and out liar of the first magnitude, who sold political punch lines like a used car salemsan would sell a Gremlin. The public saw through his shenanigans before Monica become synonymis with BJ. They just didn't want to believe they elected such a snake oil salesman who had hoodwinked them.

His final pardoning acts told the real story about him to anyone by the most blind partisan faithful.
