Atmos has a fast single transistor SRAM technology at TSMC.

I think NVIDIA is a TSMC customer as well.

This may be a pretty cool chip!!

I put my GTC buy order in for AMD at $9.50 today.

Hopefully it'll hit in a few days/weeks.

Re; the graphics must go all the way to the CPU in order to get access to the memory controller and perform any memory reads/writes.

In the very unlikely case that this is ever an issue, they'll solder a dedicated RAM chip to the motherboard for $3.

The AMD integrated graphics chipsets from Nvidia are so much faster than any Intel integrated graphics, that it's hard to imagine this ever being a problem - and, if it is, the fix costs $3.
