I agree. It was a bit disconcerting to see the 1050 (1048 and change to be more precise) support level on the S&P get obliterated in the last half hour. But I stubbornly believe that buying will begin soon.

I can't make money shorting software in this mkt. I've made more money on the long side in the last month, buying the damaged stocks. I tried to short adbe a while ago... it was one of the few software stocks left standing, the next day the naz fell 30 pts and adbe was actually UP. I finally got out of my short with a .50 gain, big deal for all that angst. I was considering shorting amzn, which has rallied all year but I notice that hasn't gone anywhere in this correction either. L
