I regularly check out the CFZ thread here on SI. Just today, I think...recently, anyway, there were some personal observations about Northern California commercial real estate. Obviously, it's in the pits. Here, too. Austin, specifically. Dallas/FtWorth must be rather lame re telecom concentration there... And Houston, of course. CPQ and the energy frauds. Residential has to follow. I just don't see how refis can 'hold it up.' Sorry for the pessimism, but I don't want to lose any more money. All cash. No real estate. I have the flexibility to do that, though, that I realize most people don't. bia
