EMC FALLS AHEAD OF ANALYST MEETING THURSDAY

Storage colossus EMC slid almost 6 percent ahead of its analyst meeting in New York
City on Thursday. Goldman Sachs' Laura Conigliaro said the meeting will attempt to
answer investor questions regarding the company's business model and the evolving
storage market. The analyst lowered her "third-quarter and beyond" revenue estimates
to reflect a more muted IT spending recovery, with higher gross margins serving as a
partial offset.
