If it is Bush's current position that it is obvious that global temperatures are increasing significantly and most or all of this increase is due to the activities of man, and that this warming is a big deal and almost completely negative in its consequences then yes I do disagree with Bush's position. It would not be the first time I have disagreed with him and almost certainly it will not be the last. I disagree with him about a number of issues and have posted about some of them here.

I would say that the preponderance of evidence suggests that the temperature of the planet is increasing, but it doesn't amount to beyond all reasonable doubt levels of evidence. Also the evidence that this is a steady increase and not just a mild fluctuation like many before is not solid. If temperatures are steadily increasing human emissions of CO2 and other greenhouse gases would seem to be a logical reason for it but not the only one. If the temperatures are increasing and we are causing it that doesn't mean it is a big deal or that it will be more negative then positive.

There are a lot of possibilities here. Some of them could be very bad, but little about this subject is obvious.
