S&P 500 headed for 3-digit territory again. Meanwhile, key members of the Bush administration sit back and yawn, and then check the worth of their secret accounts registered in the Cayman Islands. The place to start is by restoring investor confidence in the business of business, but so far the GOP has stonewalled any attempts to make Big Business accountable even to shareholders, much less the American public. Perhaps by November the American public will realize that GWB has done nothing with the "peace dividend" handed to him on a silver platter by President Clinton.
