Kap:

Re: His "do anything to get elected" modus operandi is starting to remind me Clinton's.

Some of the things you mentioned are irritating me somewhat, too, and I am a staunch Republican. However, Bush's agenda, which I agree with, is to do what it takes to hold onto the House, and to regain the Senate (particularly the Senate, where it's vitally important to get conservative judges appointed). If he succeeds, many Republicans will "forgive" his flip-flops and moderate advances - BUT he'll have to go back to the Right in the next two years after the mid-terms if he's going to get reelected.

Kap - what have you done with your INTC puts? I've closed out most of my covered call positions for a profit, and will sell some puts tomorrow (unless there's a huge rebound), as I think today's general market reaction to Tyco was a little too much.

Adam

Kap,

re: However, Bush is starting to irritate me.

Agree again. What's the world coming to.

I am a Libertarian, but have always voted Republican -- as the lesser of two evils (the Democrats being the greater evil).

-- If you have "always voted Republican", then you're a Republican. The Libertarians put up a Candidate in at least the last few Presidential Elections, who you've never voted for, therefore you are not a Libertarian.
