Why do you think that the dollar is dropping now? I know about the trade deficit, but things looked far worse last autumn. Recent US economic numbers have been very good. The only thing that I can think of is that investors have become disillusioned with US markets due to Enron, stock option fiddles and continuing losses.

I think that the dollar will fall enough to curb the trade deficit, which will actually help many US manufacturing companies. I don't really see any reason for a break of the September lows, although a retest is in order.
