The dollar may be weakening the markets over time, but yesterday's catalyst was clearly Tyco, causing panic about the integrity of executive managers.

Let us know when you reenter an INTC put position. We both effectively play the predictable short-term trading range on INTC (and other equities), but from different angles. I prefer the lower-risk strategy of covered calls, while you go for buying puts, which is too risky for me. Good luck.

Are you going to trade on the INTC mid-quarter update? If I remember correctly, last quarter INTC rose in the days ahead of and immediately after the update, then fell off starting the Monday after the update. Do you think this is predictable enough to sell covered calls Thursday or Friday (for wimpy me, or for you to buy a new put position)?
