JDN a true liberal despises bureaucracy is leery of government and cherishes freedom above all. The people who founded this country were true liberals. It is up to the conservatives to save what they gave us. In the public arena there is not one person I can name who is a true liberal. Although I find Allen Combs a decent person his views are not liberal. He is a confused statist.

JDN think about what passes as liberalism today. It is the belief that a non-feeling mind numbed bureaucracy can solve our problems and that the finer spirit of individualism and self-initiative should be squashed. The recent FBI situation describes the action of bureaucracy versus the spirit of individualism. The only element of liberalism that is understood today is sexual freedom. Unfortunately this is used as a tool to divert the attention of people while real freedom is taken away step by step. Huxley described this in his "Brave new World".
