Thanks for the thoughtful reply. Maybe someone else knowledgeable about RC will discuss the definition of/concept 'theological defect.'

I went over to the neighbor's, since she is a member of the Church of England, I thought she could tell me about the 'defects' of her Church. I think I should have phrased it differently. <s>.
