President Alejandro Toledo must be careful how he manages this situation. He was voted in to protect the law and constitution. The farmers have the right to stay.

Yes the project is important but protecting the people's rights are equally important. BTW new discoveries like Barrick's gold find in Northern Peru and rumor has it a major find in southern Peru will help.
