How did things end up with the hummingbirds in your area? Did they finally show up? Are there as many as in previous years?

How are Bumble Bee numbers this year? Do you think they are about average, or less than normal?

Any Monarch butterflies yet? Some seen up here this year, but as many people have reported from Mexico, the weather down there killed off millions of Monarchs in one of their main winter habitats.

People up around here have really started paying attention to the wildlife and what it is telling us. Last week, I had an Indigo bunting out in the garden. That's a first for me as this area is really rather far north of the normal range for these birds. Someone just emailed me last night regarding another bird species that is farther north than its normal range. I don't know if you saw the article in the Washington Post a couple of days ago about the Inuit peoples saying that they have been seeing robins up north where they have never been seen before. Also spiders and other insects that they don't even have names for.

For those who know much about nature, these are very strange times.
