enigma, full disclosure, with stories like that one, will solve the problem, and already is starting to. As imbalanced CEO compensations are disclosed, objections surface to owners, like CalPers, the largest retirement fund in the country, and they are starting to demand changes. Ditto the offshore tax-evasion scams that subvert the tax structure. With disclosure, legislators need to come to grips with either eliminating corp tax, or making a balanced playing field. The publicizing of offshore tax havens happens every few years, and eventually everyone will get their own account, or tax laws will be changed. I think the latter.
