US economic data you say... those figures put out by the US government to bolster whatever barrow they happen to be pushing, perpetually being adjusted and restated.. That's even more flexible than the dollar, and as it is all calculated in US dollar terms it has exactly the same problems.. OK world currencies I will accept, but you have to be a bit more specific or the statement is useless rhetoric..
